The Gods are back! And they're mad!
After Guthix's death, the road has been paved for the Gods to return to Gielinor. The first two to make it back are Saradomin and Zamorak. Perhaps you've heard of them. If you haven't, here's the lowdown:
Saradomin
God of Order. He is also known (by his followers, at least) as the Protector, and the god of Light and Good. Most of the human population of Gielinor is on his side, and given the massive amounts of humans in the world now, it gives Saradomin a huge advantage to work with as he strives to achieve his goals. What are those? Peace and tranquility, order and light, goodness and wonder.
...Or so his followers will tell you. Others whisper that Saradomin has a darker side, and he's not the goody two-shoes he wants you to think he is. They say he's hellbent on control, making sure that everyone in the world bows to him, and only to him.
Zamorak
God of Chaos. He has also, at many different times, and by many different people, had attributed to him Chaos, fire, destruction, and strength. Zamorak's of the opinion that order leads to stagnation. People (humans and non-humans alike) cannot improve if everything is peaceful and harmonious. They need some disruption, some challenge, some chaos in their life. That's where Zamorak comes in. He'll provide that chaos, that challenge. If you can't keep up, or are to lazy, then you will fail. If you can keep up, and rise above the challenges, the rewards can be great...
Of course, many will say that Zamorak is evil, and brings evil. A god of destruction is not good. Look at the Wilderness, what has improved from that?! Once a paradise, it's now a desolate wasteland. And his followers are demons and vampyres, thieves and brutes- enemies of any good, respectable person.
Either way, both of them are now focused on collecting a powerful source of godly energy, known as "Divine Tears." However, they're both to busy fighting each other to collect the tears themselves, so instead they're recruiting others to do it-others like you! Whichever god collects the most divine tears will have an enormous advantage in future events. Which god will you help?
Jedi Supporting Saradomin in the Battle of Lumbridge
Jedi Supporting Zamorak in the Battle of Lumbridge
Thread Update- August 23, 2013
Ok, sorry about my long absence and lack of update on this thread, but I have returned to bring it back on topic now!!
Part 1
The fifth week of the Battle of Lumbridge is slowly drawing to a close...
Saradomin still leads, with 24m more tears then Zamorak. But, Zamorakians, all hope isn't lost-Saradomin's lead (in terms of percentage) is slowly shrinking... So Zamorak might still have a chance to be victorious in this battle (though it will be hard)
So, that leads to my first Question:
Which god are you supporting in the Battle of Lumbridge, and why? Elaborate!! Tell us whether you're supporting this god just for the battle, or if you owe your allegiance to that god overall or not? Why did you make that choice?
What have you done (if anything) to show your allegiance to your chosen god (whether it's Saradomin/Zamorak or some other god, or the godless, etc. )in Runescape? In the Battle of Lumbridge? In the rest of the world?
Also, how much have you helped either or both sides in the Battle of Lumbridge? Which leads to part two....
Part 2
There are many rewards for participating in the Battle of Lumbridge, many cosmetic and some not. Here is a list:

So, my second question:
How many of these rewards do you have, and how many of them do you want to get (if any)?
Part 3
Ok, my last (not really a) question:
I will be running a contest. It will run from the time this post is posted until the end of the Battle of Lumbridge (in about 5 weeks).
You have to write a story (and post it on this thread), relating to your runescape character and the gods. Preferably, it should involve the Battle of lumbridge, but if it's good enough, it doesn't have to. Furthermore, it would be great if it involved screenshots, but again, doesn't have too/. What it does have to contain is writing. it needs to be a story, and therefore cannot be predominately screenshots (and no "but Goldy, a picture's worth 1,000 words...." crap).
Other then that, I leave it up to your creative licence. You are welcome (more then welcome) to post more then one, or multiple chapters of one, or whatever. Any questions or doubts, feel free to ask
The contest will be judged by me after the event is over. I will ask you then to choose which of your submissions (if you have more then one) you want to be judged. The winner will receive an (as of now) unknown reward from me (based on the quality of the work as well as number of submissions).
Good Luck!
