Mitch, I highly doubt they're going to actively kill or completely banish a god this early in the game, simply because it would kill too many story lines off fairly quickly. Knight, no one is going to kick you out or censure you in any way for arguing runescape lore, or holding a different view about it then others. As long as you keep it civil (ie. don't start insulting people) I think it's great to have this kind of discussion. I love it. And in that didn't answer your question, yes I do indeed read lore in my free time In fact, I try to know as much about it as possible

BTW Mitch gold is right this first part is one of 4 events and so far saradomin is going to win event 1 but there is still time for zammy to make a come back plus no one knows what will happen to the winner/loser of the event for sure anyways

Where did you get one of four? It's the first world event, I know they are planning on making more then, they're already in active planning of three And I'm fairly sure Dave Osborne knows

How do you guys know that? do you like read lore in your free time? Honestly knight, you can debate all you want in this clan, in fact we do it all the time. Also evidence of Saradomin being a control freak? The fact that he will do anything to achieve his goals of order and so forth. Guthix is really the only RS God that isn't a huge jerk and now he is dead.

Nice pegs i have to say i mirror your views on guthix and saradomin To be fair to the Dorgeshuun, the only reason they don't like Guthix is because just about every other god in RS is the reason they don't like the gods at all. If anything they would probably like Guthix if they met him XD Well, looks like Saradomin may win this one, but that still leaves time for those supporting Guthix (who is now dead) to screw over just about every other side out there.

If you were a god (runescape-style) and you happened around a village that was being attacked by dragons (animalistic, just instinct, no alignment, they're just out for killing because they don't like humans) would you stop the Dragons and save the people (thousands of them, adults and children, men and women, etc.), or just let nature take it's course?

To be fair Guthix is balance k? There are the dragons and then there are the dragon slayers. if the scale leans to one side more then the other side needs something added. Guthix is the one rs god that really isn't a giant jerkass, and emphasis on giant at the moment.

Well Jagex did say that the god that loses will be banished from Gielnor So that's where I got my info from

They did not say they would be banished from Gielinor (as far as I can tell). What they did say was that there would be severe consequences for the loser, but they never specified exactly what. Could you provide a source? Peg, overall, the humans were not dragonslayers. They were regular farming/crafting/whatever people who would have no defence against the dragons. Furthermore, odds are the attack would kill many more humans then they would dragons (remember this is Gielinor we're talking about, not modern day earth). Furthermore, you avoided the question, then repeated hat you said before. Please answer the question

as a god of balance if there was no overpopulation of humans at the time (which would cause a need for them to be evened out) i would grant power to a select few to fend off the majority of the dragons and allow equal loss on both sides

Only thing is, Guthix wasn't as much about balance as he was about keeping gods apart from Mortals. He wouldn't want you to intervene.

quite true so in order for me to allow perfect balance i would have to sit back and watch as what happened unfolded

My brain exploded after reading all that. Even though balance is key I wouldn't start slaughtering innocent people just to make sure that balance is key, to much loss and not enough gain.
