Well, there's one reason to follow Saradomin. He's not lying when he says he wants to bring peace, order, and protection. He tries to do what's best for his worshipers (which include the vast majority of people on Gielinor), and does try to protect them from harm.
Everything he does is for the greater good, to greater lead towards that peace. He is controlling as a parent is controlling, and only wants whats best for mortals as a whole-even if it does involve some pain.

Standing by and doing nothing while watching someone else be murdered is almost the same, in my (and many others) eyes.

How long is this world event? it's pretty apparent that saradomin already won it.

circle of life gold because if the humans went to kill the dragons to eat or use for other resources it would also be considered murder wouldn't it? so how would simply killing all the dragons which is probably the only way to save said humans help at all?

Didn't say it would. But say instead, you create a barrier between the village and the dragons, till they give up? The world event is 10 weeks long total, we have just entered the 4rth week.

but you are interfering in the course of nature so at some point something else will arise to either harm those people or interest the dragons to cause chaos

To be fair for Elvarg, the dang thing was extremely cranky and extremely territorial. Of course it is going to attack do-do. dang idiot who woke it up should have avoided that cave in the first place and Elvarg could have been a nice happy dragon for all we know. Getting back on topic though: So which god do you think will get their account banned? (Tis a joke, a play on the ban system)
