Attack - To train Attack, you will need to select 'Accurate' attack styles from the combat menu (to find out which style is which, scroll your mouse over the icons).

Having a higher Attack level not only means you will hit the opponent more often, but it will also enable you able to train with stronger/better weapons.

Strength - Strength ultimately determines the amount of damage you can deal to an opponent. With a strong weapon and a high Strength level, you will find yourself able to deal a significant amount of damage to a monster or player!

To train Strength, you would use the 'Aggressive' options from the combat sub-menu (to find out which style is which, scroll your mouse over the icons). These will purely train your Strength, making you able to gain Strength levels quicker.

Defence - Defence refers to the chance you have of being hit. A higher Defence level makes you a tougher warrior, giving you the ability to last longer against any foe.

To train Defence, you should select the 'Defensive' option from the combat side interface (to find out which style is which, scroll your mouse over the icons). You can also train your Defence by selecting defensive casting from the bottom-left of your magic spellbook.

Constitution - The amount of health points your character has. It is automatically trained whenever you use one of the combat methods.

Slayer - Across RuneScape, even the most powerful adventurers will find strange beasts and weird spirits that defy ordinary combat methods. Whether through sorcery, armour or other, stranger means, these monsters are impervious to the attacks of those who have not trodden the path of the Slayer.

The Slayer skill allows you to kill those strange creatures that you may previously have thought immune to your attacks. Many of these creatures are ancient and greedy, and have amassed a great deal of wealth in their time. You'll find that by training your Slayer skill, you can earn great rewards.

hey my combat lvl is around 76 and im looking to lvl it up, but i just want to know a good beast to kill that is decent money and fast experience? i am a member for another little while but f2p suggestions would be nice too thx

id suggest slayer for your lvl. decent money and decent xp. in freeplay the giant spiders are your best bet probably.

Would it be better exp wise to get 90 str then 90 atk or to go 80 str then 80 atk then 90 str then 90 atk?

I would train them evenly personally but most would say get the 90 strength so you hit higher and therefore get more xp then get the 90 attack to hit more often, most monsters people train on don't have high defense.

I'm lvl 89 cb F2P, and my ATK,STR and DEF are about lvl 70 each. I would like to get all three of them to about 80 or 85 or maybe even 90+. any decent fast xp from F2P enemies I can kill? I could care less for item drops, I just want to be better at clan wars :-P

if you dont care about drops then do giant spiders
they are about the best xp rate you are gonna get in freeplay for minimal effort

Training on aggresive is faster than accurate unless you are training on something with high defense, which you shouldn't be training on then.
Only train strength to high first if you have a chaotic rapier, or train with dharoks on undead. Otherwise, it's better to train on controlled with whip since no other weapon compares to the whip.

A saradomin sword is a two handed whip with a better special. with a whip you can have a shield offhand for defense, or a defender for more of a strength bonus and offense. if you factor in the fact that you can have an off-hand item the whip is better. The saradomin sword is only worth more because it has a decent special and its harder to get.

Meh, not worth the price difference in my opinion, if you are going to train everything anyway you might as well already be on controlled.

so just realized that if I get 90 in str, atk and def i would have a total of 5,346,332 exp in each skill which adds up to a little over 16 mil. thats enough for another 99 and then some! should i just 99 str vs getting 3 90's? range was so simple :[

90 atk / str / def is a lot more useful than 99 str alone. And you'll eventually want to get them all to 99 anyways, so you might aswell do the fastest cmb xp / h, which is whip on controlled.

Having 99s doesn't really mean anything - I have 77m overall xp and no 99s, but I would much prefer that to a character with however many 99s that could get me (unless they were like, 99 herb / pray / rc / summ / dng - the hard ones..)

If you just want the 99 to show off, pick a way harder one so people will respect you
everyone already has 99s in a melee, cooking, firemaking, and fletching.

I personally just wear my fire cape with pride! ^.^
