I think Obama was a bad choice. Get ready for more taxes and more people on walfare. He is taxing the people with good paying jobs and 'spreading their wealth' around to people who are too lazy to get up off their butts and find a job. Instead, they are living on the streets in cardboard UPS boxes, getting handouts from Obama. Bad Choice.
Don't be a hater, vote for Nader!
Also, if you want an American-born celebrity running for president, you might want to consider Mike Ditka, his Vice-Pres. would definantly be Joe Paterno. They'd win, I'd vote for em.

I'm OK with Obama as long as he doesn't turn the US into a socialist state... If he does, I'm moving back to China (which is supposed to be communist but actually is less socialist than GB).

You'd rather live in a state that blatantly opposes basic human rights - like freedom of speach - than a socialist state? Socialism really isn't that bad, in my opinion, you would need a nice balance of socialism and liberalism to make the perfect country. Free healthcare, decent public schools and focus on the environment from socialism, the free market and a decent economy from liberalism.

One must admit that Canadians are prone to be MUCH happier than members of the United States. I doubt being a world leader is that important when you're content.

im not being close minded... the fact is that obamas policies will help a few at the cost of the majority of others... that is not what america is about at all and it is a disgrace to the country...

Apparently, it will help the majority of Americans. This is something we can find in the polls and the election results. Otherwise, he would not have won.

Rich vs Poor II? lol... Seriously, if my family gets one more penny added onto our already $50k tax, we're seriously moving back . I feel like we're getting only 10k of stuff... And in China, as long as you don't cause a ruckus and pay your few dollars of Communist Party dues (optional but recommended), you're fine... Also, China has a ton of money that we're supposed to be paying back to them in the next few years (thanks to Bush).

Of course you brag about your situation again... that seriously pisses people off.
Tax cuts to some might be ok but it shouldn't be less than $250,000 and you get it... if your making 6 figures you are fine unless you have a lot of kids or people to take care of. Also raising taxes for everyone making more than that will hurt small businesses, many of the owners have to file all the profits of the company on their own personal taxes and that will hurt them incredibly bad because they aren't really making that much.

How is having a $50k tax good? I'm not bragging, just making a point. I don't want to pay 50k for 10k...
Also, the companies that survive the crisis will just base more of their operations in Asian countries (and some will even just move out) if we tax them like crazy.
Socialism is not the answer to the world's problems. China (supposedly communist) is better off than the EU and NATO because of their free market and tax systems. You pay for the benefits that you want from the CP. That's a little more fair. Yet they still have a few hundred billion bucks that we're supposed to pay them. Booyah! Lets raise taxes because we were spending maniacs!
