Gold Bar to Gold Necklace

This is not something I came up with it is actually something Aslow64 shared with me to train my crafting level.

Buy about 500k gp worth of Gold Bars on the Grand Exchange. Go to Al Kharid and get a necklace mould then smith at the Furnace in Al Kharid. Make them into normal gold necklaces. You will get over 1m gp worth of Gold Bars when sold on the Grand Exchange.


Some may ask why would this work like this work like it does? Well, gold necklaces are bought to be Alched.

I know it isn't all nice and fancy like Platky's are, but it is simple and down to the point so I saw no need to add pics and such.

Anyways this seems similar to the flax to bowstring method in that it doubles the money you put in. Just wondering how long approximately it would take to do 500k worth of bars or even better how many necklaces can you make in 1 hour if you are fairly steady and not overly distracted?

I would love to say those but with my ADHD I get too distracted to be able to stay focued the whole time. For example, I am crafting and got bored so came on the forums to check the recent posts and posted this. ;D

lol, happens all the time. Can you time how long one run + banking takes? You can determine approximate amount/hr if you do that

I think this is basically the same exact thing this is just the f2p version and I think Bailey found this makes more profit than flax to bowstring.
