Chapter One: The Basics

Section I: What is Hunter?

Hunter is a members-only skill. This skill allows you to catch creatures all across the land of Gielinor. While Hunting you may still get attacked and loss some hitpoints.

Section II: How does one hunt? What will I need?

You will need the right hunting supplies depending on what you are hunting. You can get these items at a hunting store, which are located in Yanille and another in Nardah. Here is a list of all the hunting supplies.

Hunter areas are locations where players can go to hunt. Most of the hunter areas, including the hunter shops, are close to a Fairy ring.(need partial completion of Fairytale Part 2)

Chapter Two: The Guide

Section I: Level 1-20

Go to Vinesweeper and take 1500 coins. Once there go to Farmer Blinkin and buy 150 Ogleroots. Go to the outer area and feed rabits Ogleroots. It will give you 30 experience each time you feed a rabbit.

Section II: Level 20-29

buy two bird snares and go to the Jungle Hunting Area. On the West edge of the map go and use the bird snares to catch Tropical Wagtails. It is suggested that you keep the feathers if you ever have the need to train Fletching.

Section III : Level 29-53

Once at level 29 go to the Swamp Area with several nets. Catch the Swamp Lizards till level 53. If you are wanting to gain money, bank these lizards. They are high price because they are used in Summoning.

Section IV : Level 53-80

At level 53 you should buy 5 Box traps and head to the Woodlands Hunting Area. Find a group of Chinchompas and start your hunting. They are stackable and are good money.

Section V : Level 80-99

Once at Level 80, give yourself a pat on the back for making it this far. Take around 8 traps with you to the Jungle Hunting Area. Find a group of Red Chinchompas and let the madness begin! These are very similar to normal chinchompas except better xp and don't go into the traps as often. You will need to catch 41,692 REd Chinchompa to get to level 99


Congratulations, you've just advanced a Hunter Level.
Your Hunter level is now 99.


Chapter Three: Skill Cape

Now go to the Feldip Hunting Area and bring 99,000 coins with you. On the map you should see a question mark icon. Go to this location and you will see a women with Larupia clothing and the Hunter Skill Cape. Talk to her and you will end up giving the coins you brought with you to her in exchange for the Hunter Cape!
