So I've been toying with this idea for awhile now. Why can't we attempt to bring a form of SC to f2p that focuses on combat? Each team would have 15-30 minutes to make the best quality armor, weapons, runes, food, etc. etc. that they can make (rangers obviously are exempt from this since fletching is p2p only and making d hide is p2p only, so i don't know how it will work out for anyone who prefers to range). At the end of the time limit, we all meet at clan wars, and duke it out for a couple of matches. At the end of the game, whoever has the highest score wins. I'm still working on the score counts, but I've been thinking about using ge prices for armor and weapons, and potentially left over food, kill scores would vary depending on the team strength, and wins would be like 10k each. Any ideas on this are welcome!

could potentially be good if we spend the time figuring it out.

sounds like fun ghost, but i must question the time of 15-30 minutes, would that be enough time to make a full suit of armour and a wep?
unless thats the whole point on making what you can with that little time.
either way, it really sounds like fun.

now that ive thought about this one, id say we use the high alchemy prices of the items. they are constant unlike the ge prices that can fluctuate day to day or even hour to hour depending on when it updates. that would make this event something that could happen over and over again without too much hassle of researching all the item's prices.

That makes sense revan, and there's plenty of time to make a full suit of armor Mr Horse, at least there is if you have plenty of people on your team, each doing different things. One mines, one smelts and smiths, one fishes and cooks, etc. etc. I'm still working on figuring out a kill score, because it has to be based on team strength as well as combat levels, and i've got nothing there.

perhaps a base score of say 100 per kill with the difference in combt lvls added if the lower won the fight or subtracted if the higher lvl won the fight? so a high lvl killing lower lvls gets less points than a low lvl managing to kill higher lvls make sense?

thing is someone would have to watch or be a referee somehow and record cmbt lvls and who kills who cause lvls can change during cmbt and you want it to be accurate. and the people fighting will probably be too busy to notice in the middle of a fight ;p

Perhaps, maybe I could record the entire thing with a hypercam?

I love this idea!! Very good! It would be a lot of fun, if we could figure the whole thing out and get it working! I am totally up for it!
