Name and describe any overused cliche in any genre of games at all (RPG, Platformer, MMO, etc.), like a dictionary definition.
For Example:
Sentimentality is for Chumps - Items characters in your party have that they should have sentimental value for can be given to another person or sold as if they didn't care.

Bring Me To Life (Except for you Aeris)- A single item that is fairly cheap compared to many other items can bring back anyone from the dead no matter what killed them. Except for some reason if you get killed in a cutscene. Then the other characters for some reason don't think to use said Item.

Get Me That Item (It's right next to you!) Often times in an RPG, you will be sent out to get an item. In many beginner quests you are sent to talk to a person or find an item that is either right next to the quest giver, or ten feet away. Apparently, most quest givers are so lazy they are willing to give you a rare item to get them something 10 feet away.

FPS: Grossly exaggerating the damage dealt by the melee attack option. I mean, as if being lightly hit by a sideways thrust of a gun would kill you...(I'm looking at you Halo...). I actually agree with the decision though...
World War II shooters: Storm "X" beach. Raid "X" camp. Get bored as "X".
