Well isn't this a fun little surprise. Glad to see everyone else is doing well and sadly still giving into the vice that is Runescape. Still working as a teaching assistant and the pay sucks, so naturally still living at home whoop whoop! The student I've been with most of that time is blind so I've been thinking working as a teacher for the visually impaired. I really don't want to go back to school for it though since I would need to leave my job to student teach again. Can't really lose health benefits and all. Luckily I've been with this district now for 4 years now and making a name for myself so hopefully I'll be getting a full time teaching job once all this pandemic stuff quiets down some more. Game wise I've been off and on playing RS3 for awhile now like Gold said, but mainly doing afk stuff so I never thought to really check in on private or clan chats. Covid dragged by sorry ass back to the grind in March since it was fairly easy to skill and attend virtual lessons at the same time. Not sure how active I'll be anymore since schools are starting to be in person again, so I'll probably just stay f2p for a while. But now that I know you guys are still fairly active I'll try to pop in to a clan chat or the discord that Kam set up. I don't think it really matters anymore, its been almost 10 years at this point. I don't say this to me mean but more the emphasize how much time has gone by, but I really don't remember you or any of the drama the that happened. I had to look at posting history to get a sense of what might have happened. If there had been bitterness back then, time has a tendency to make one forget. As the former Room of Records moderator for a whole 2 weeks, having a wonderful memory being a history major, and sadly being an instigator in some of the drama, I can gladly fill everyone on the stupid and cringy things we all did as teenagers.

I've been playing a lot of DnD as well. I can't believe the horrible reputation it had until just the past few years - I was extremely apprehensive the first time I was invited to play, simply because I had heard people talk about how it's only for the most geeky of nerds. Now I can't get enough of it, so either I've become nerdier or all those haters were wrong!

Nerdiness is becoming mainstream, and as far as D&D is concerned 4th edition had a really bad rep (i actually dislike it too even though it was my first edition). 5th edition however is much better, and I have now moved onwards to pathfinder which is just a lot more expansive.

Wish I thought of it sooner, COVID would have been a good time to get the clan back together for a bit.
Heard a few songs on a throwback playlist tonight that took me back to summer 2007 and the overnight game binges. Grateful for the season of life and community that was this group of people.
