I have been with my girlfriend for just about 5 months now (a little more, actually). It has been five months of pure happiness, bliss, and me truly believing I have found my better half.
However... There is a guy that viewed my girlfriend as his when we started dating. He never formally asked her out. They talked a lot, they spent time on Skype, and he just assumed. I have been catching do-do from his sister (and her wife [Germany ftw?]) since the start. I won't bother posting those logs, because they're not exactly nice. This, hopefully shutting them up once and for all, was my reply about ten minutes ago

Here's a long one for you guys.
You're being an dummy to Tisha. I'm tired of it. You have no right. Your brother did not even ask her out. He assumed. Maybe that's how it works there, but in the East, it isn't. If he could not know that or understand that, then there is no way he could ever work with her.
As far as the do-do that "I stole her from him", I didn't. I have friends who, if you didn't know us personally, you'd believe we were dating. I've been asked how long I've been married to one of my friends before. We're THAT close. Maybe she viewed him as that. I can't speak for her.
My own position is that you three are being immature and idiotic, for the lack of a better word.
She was never his. They were never titled Boyfriend and girlfriend. She came across me and at first said no. She came back and actually asked me out weeks later.
This girl is my life, my love, and everything I have ever wanted and more. She is so kind hearted, gentle, and well, as insane as I am. You guys need to grow up, get over yourselves, and learn customs of the rest of the world and not expect everyone to automatically know yours and adapt to yours, assuming that not asking someone to be yours is a custom. We are not property. We ASK to be with someone, not claim them and carry on.

I am a bit worked up on this, don't want to Tisha know, but she can tell. I love this girl. She is my world. However I don't think it's fair that she is catching so much garbage from a biased party who will believe anything that this guy says.
I am taking my stand. I am fighting for her, for me, for us. I won't just stand by while this guy is able to upset her. I'll shut this down, once and for all.
