Any other Minecraft players here? If so, share some pictures of your creations! I'll start off with something simple. here is my cozy cottage by the sea shore.

Wanna check it out on the server? You need a legit version of minecraft. Its not mine tho ^^.
And there are mostly 5-6 people on at evening in europe. We also have some American members on the server.

I do have a legit version, and I would be interested. Though I am not an American, does that ruin things?

It's less about the thread necro, and more about the fact that no matter what you do, your karma will be OVER 9000!!!!!!!!

What sort of "adventure maps" do you mean?
And why is this new map such a "!@#$#@"? What about it makes it that way?
To all the Minecraft players, which mode do you prefer: the building mode, or the adventure/survival mode?
Have any of you been to The End and beat the enemy there? What was it like? What did you feel upon killing it?
What do you think about the new boss set to be released into the game soon, the second "Minecraft Boss" overall?

Thats a trick question, cause I build in survival mode. I've tried it in creative mode, but find more satisfaction in survival. It forces me to create an infrastructure. I've always found the game more about mastering and engineering the environment to your purpose, and less about the adventure.
I have been to the End, and I have killed the Dragon. The thrill was encountering something new, but honestly after doing it once, I turned right back to engineering my next automated monster grinder / castle / village / bridge / whatever. Since thats where I get my enjoyment out of the game.

adventure maps are ones built by other people for a specific end, usually fighting your way through the dungeons theyve built to find an item for a victory condition. Some of them get downright frustrating with the sheer number of hostile mobs trying to kill you at any given time. I have been to the end, killed the dragon, killed a wither, mostly just wanted the rewards from doing so because they help out alot for what I actually wanted to do which is build my crazy bases and castles and stuff.

I thought the reward from the Ender Dragon (Egg) was just cosmetic?

the reward in that case is being able to build the most efficient xp grinder in the game as it stands right now... the end is ridiculously useful for that one single purpose, but only once youve gotten rid of the dragon.
