ok so ive been getting this email for about 4 months now: It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell your personal RuneScape account(s). As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and Terms of Agreement. If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be ongoing for further investigation by JAGEX Entertainment's employees. If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account ownership. and i keep changing my pass because off it then i got this email on oct 9th: We regret to inform you that your account has received an infraction due to a Major Real World Trading offense. Please visit the appeal section under Account Management to view evidence of your infraction(s) and to appeal any infraction(s) that you feel were unjustified. so i checked it out and this is what i found: Attachments:

Yeah, this happened to me once before as well. Got an email from jagex telling me my account had received an infraction for botting, logged in and saw jagex had already removed the infraction and sent me a message stating that my account had received a incorrect infraction due to an error in the identification system.
Also possible someone could have a hate on for you and is falsely reporting you. I know some games have automated report systems that ban an account automatically after receiving so many reports. Then when a actual Mod inspects later, and finds its false, lifts the ban
But yeah, good to see it caused you no long term issue.

set the sender as spam. It isn't jagex that send it but a hacker i think. Cause if you change your pass or recover your account jagex has an other email adress

if there is a link in it, hover your mouse over it and if it doesn't come up as a secure jagex website, then it's a phishing site.

Yes, also, disregard the email and don't click on any links in its, and go direct to www.runescape.com and login and check your messages. Jagex will always duplicate any email sent to you with an independant message in your accounts messages. Any link in the email could lead to a phishing site. If you have not received a message from jagex to your runescape account, then its B.S. Ignore and block it. If you have, deal with in though the runescape message only.
