Not to open a can of worms -- but I'd like someone to explain to me why so many players on RS are upset over the infinite limits being removed from stores, GE, etc. with RuneTek 5 update. So many players were online last night saying how it was going to cause some things to skyrocket in price on GE (like abby whips) and other things to fall in price (like Barrows)
The reason I don't understand why they are upset, is becasue I don't merch or trade. (I just slay monsters and bank or sell the drops) So someone please enlighten me as to what exactly has happened with removing limits to upset so many.
Other than that -- I like the full screen SD -- but they sure darkened up HD. I can live without the cursor effects -- but at least that can be toggled off.
Opinions, Comments....

well i agree that having the infinite limits removed was not a good idea. Just yesterday i went to get 500 raw bird meat for rew... and i could only buy 10...
Im not entirely sure how this would affect barrows items or whip. It would only indirectly affect them i assume because only rudementary items that you can buy in shops are directly affected.
I do like the Standard Detail full screen aswell but the biggest thing that im glad that happened, and its actually something very small, is the fix in HD how some graphics cards didnt register the grand exchange progress bars. That single thing turned me off HD before so im glad they fixed it.
The cursors are something i figured RS would have had a long time ago because every other MMORPG in the world seems to have something to the affect. They can be good but annoying and some of the images are ugly, such as the arrow that appears over your arrow??
On a whole i think the update is good but as of this very moment they are doing the second system update which means there really was alot of bugs

The only problem i have with it is that in high detail it now keeps on crashing on me which is really annoying. Removing the unlimited stock from the shops is fine that just puts it back to how it used to be except everyone looks at their own shop so stuff cannot get bought out by other people.

The main thing about bosses (like barrows) is that safespots were removed. Meaning it's harder to do it now. Still possible, though.

I'm not a fan of the shop update...
The infinite main stock and separate player stock system always had a weird feeling to it after it was implemented, but it became an important part of how resources entered the game. (especially for items such as raw bird meat that are impractical to gather otherwise.)
Also, the new shop interface is inconsistent with other interfaces that deal with items... There's not really a good reason to close the items for sale in that box. The gradient backdrop also looks very out of place.

Has anyone noticed how difficult certain monsters are to click on now?
I was killing kalphite soldiers on a slayer task recently and there's a huge "hole" in the middle of them... Really frustrating.
