this random noob started following me out of nowhere asking mefor a party hat or an halloween hat lol i told him to stop following me be he said no i mean it this guy wasannoyingand he called me a noob for telling him to stop following me.

Take it from me personally, using the word noob to describe annoyances, and I think I'm right to assume you probably called him a noob a few times, it's not something good.
We have to learn to be tolerant of other players. If you didn't want to see what he was saying, you could have very easily placed your public chat on friends or added him to your ignore list.

he called me a noob first andi politely asked him to stop following me when he called me a noobi said only people who call others noobs are noobs and then he said thats what noobs say. the guy was lvl 31 with 7 quest points soi entered the guild that u start the dragonsslayer quest in so he said nooooooooooo andthen he said noob.

Hmm I see. I personally would have just turned my public chat to friends. Of course I normally leave it set on friends to minimize lag and prevent events/issues such as this.
You have to be careful with these people as well because they sometimes like to get a bit report-trigger-happy.

i understand but what if he had added me to his friend's list andstarted annoying me? i would have turned off private but i keep it on public so i can tell what u guys say in meetings lol

You fail to understand what I'm saying.
You could add him to ignore. Also, we don't have meetings all the time so its ok to leave your public chat turned to friends when we're not doing meetings. It's not that hard of a task to complete.

good point but sometimes i help others like someone that needs an item unless i dont have the item or if its un tradeable.

If you add him to your ignore list then you can't see what he said no matter if he added you or not. Also if public is on friends you won't see anything unless you add him, same with private chat.

Are you listening to what they are saying? all you needed to do was add them to ignore and you would not be able to hear them and you would still be able to hear other poeple.
